1. Realistic!  I am so tired of looking at magazines and fashion blogs with outfits which are made up of the cutest pieces but you would never wear them together!  I understand they are trying to cram in a lot of styles and you can pick-and-choose the items of clothing, but it's just too much.  Here, on dropdeadgorg you can find outfits that are perfect, or that will guide you through the latest fashion trends.

2. Anyone who is trying to find a sense of style.  Throughout the blog, I will wear anything and any brand, because an eclectic closet is the best!  My main audience is tailored to school grade teens, who want to distinguish themselves from short shorts crowd or v-neck Aero tees.  With pictures, descriptions, and comment sections, finding what you like and what will inspire what you will wear is easy to do here.

3. I have accumulated a taste for fashion through the years and now I want to share it!  It seems that a lot of people also buy clothes and end up spending $100+ on five shirts, skirts, or whatever.  That is crazy.  With a little research and tips you can easily double your shopping bags without dropping quality. Who doesn't want  to learn how to?

4. "Personal Style Help", "How to define my own style", and other question-like Googled searches are very common.  And most of your results end with a style quiz or tell you to pick a style icon.  While it's important to do both and both help, there's a lot more to it.  Here, on my blog, I'll show you the trends, plus a little description of why it's hot, how I picked that entire outfit; and once and awhile, I'll blog about each style [separately]!  In the end, this blog will not only help you find inspiration, but will hopefully show you that style doesn't just mean being preppy, sporty, or punk- but picking the right pieces that reflect your image!

5. E-mail me! I also have links to my Facebook  and Twitter.  I usually check my e-mail a billion times a day (prospective college student life...).  It's elaine.digges129@yahoo.com! The other e-mail which has two links, on the home page, doesn't get updated enough/ checked as frequently.

6. If you have parents who restrict what types of clothing to wear or what stores to shop at, for any reason! Here's some tips:
  • Ask exactly why certain stores are off limits (don't ask if it's obv.) Ask what styles they don't want to see on you
  • If it's budget concerns, have they thought about letting you contribute to higher priced items?
  • Almost ALL shorts/skirts are too short in any store, so if you've notice a certain type of clothing isn't bought that much, address other stores who carry more acceptable clothing. [e-mail me ]
  • If they allow you to have more hand-me-downs, and don't like to go shopping- try tagging along with friends, saving your own money.  If it doesn't help e-mail me!
If it's your school, whether it's dress code or uniforms- Here's some helpful hints:
  • I hate to admit schools are right on this one, but it's usually for a reason.  If they don't allow shorts above your finger tips, or however they measure it- try new stores! [ 1.learn to sew 2.ask someone to add lace to short shorts at the end 3.cut jeans [longer than short shorts]
 1. Sew your own shorts (maybe a different fabric, haha)           2. Lace-trimmed shorts
                                           3. Cut-off shorts!
